Jill Perez
President
Jill has been a member of Stratford Tennis Club since 2012. She first discovered the club after her twin sister invited her to play with Neda, and what started as a reluctant visit quickly rekindled her love of tennis. Since then, she has rarely been off the court. Jill is grateful for her faith, her family and friends, her country, and the Stratford Tennis Club community.
Neda Haymore
Co-Founder / Membership Chair
Neda is a founding member of Stratford Tennis Club, helping incorporate the club in 1977 and serving ever since. She helped design Stratford and remains passionate about preserving it as a thriving, debt-free club where members can stay active, healthy, and connected. A lifelong tennis enthusiast, Neda has been playing since 1968 when her husband, Richard, introduced her to the game. She firmly believes tennis is one of the best sports for promoting health and longevity.
Kathy Hurt
Secretary
Kathy has been a member of Stratford Tennis Club since 2020. She joined after being introduced to the club by Neda through SATA clinics and tournaments. Although she had played tennis casually for many years, she began taking lessons and playing regularly in 2020 and has enjoyed the sport ever since. In addition to Stratford, Kathy enjoys playing with the longtime Ballou Park tennis group, another cherished tennis tradition in Danville.
Alan Gourley
Alan has been a member of Stratford Tennis Club since 2011 after joining alongside the group he regularly played with. He has enjoyed tennis for more than 35 years and especially appreciates playing on clay courts because they are easier on the body. Alan loves Stratford and is always willing to lend a hand both on and off the court to help the club continue to thrive.
Tim DiNoto
Tim has been a member of Stratford Tennis Club since 2020. He joined to meet new people while enjoying the lifelong sport of tennis. Having played since he was eight years old, Tim is passionate about both playing and teaching the game and enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with players of all skill levels.
Amar Parikh
Amar has been a member of Stratford Tennis Club since 2025. They joined to enjoy more opportunities to play, build friendships, improve both physical and mental health, and simply have fun. Originally introduced to tennis as a teenager in India, they returned to the sport through SATA adult leagues before discovering Stratford, where they now play three to four times each week. They describe tennis as the perfect combination of competition, community, fitness, and stress relief, and joke that work is often the only thing that gets in the way of being on the court.
